EDIT: 🎄📸 The photos from our Deaf Santa event at the Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club have now been added to this post with full approval from Santa and his elf crew. Additional images featuring children will be shared as family permissions are received. Thank you for your patience as we continue to prioritize privacy while sharing these special holiday moments.
Holiday cheer filled the Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club (GIDC) during a magical evening that brought smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments with Deaf Santa.
Hands of Light Photography was honored to capture the excitement as children met Deaf Santa, shared joyful moments, and experienced the holiday season in a space where communication, inclusion, and Deaf culture were celebrated. From sparkling eyes to contagious giggles, every photo reflected the true spirit of the holidays.
This wasn’t just a photo session—it was a celebration of togetherness, community, and holiday magic. The warmth and positive energy of the night made it clear that something special had begun.
Because of the incredible success of this event, Deaf Santa at GIDC is officially becoming an annual holiday tradition for Hands of Light Photography. Each year, we look forward to returning to capture even more festive memories, joyful expressions, and moments that families will treasure.
Photos from the event will be shared soon once final approval is received from Santa and his amazing elf crew 🎅🧝♂️🧝♀️. Be sure to check back soon to relive the holiday magic through our lens!
Hands of Light Photography had the honor of covering the Annual Shannon Majors Memorial Ride, hosted by IBEW 481 (Indiana Chapter). This meaningful charity event was held in memory of Shannon Majors, a fellow member who bravely fought breast cancer and left a lasting impact on her union family.
What made this ride even more powerful was the unity it inspired. Riders from across the region — including chapters from Ohio, Illinois, Chicago, and Pennsylvania — came together, forming a moving tribute of solidarity, strength, and purpose.
As the official PR coverage team, Hands of Light Photography captured the spirit of the day through striking imagery — from the energy of the riders to the symbols that speak to community and resilience. We also highlighted a special photo series featuring Harley-Davidson logos across various bikes — bold, iconic, and perfect for wallpaper enthusiasts.
This ride was more than an event. It was a statement: that Shannon’s legacy lives on, and that the Brotherhood stands strong — together.
🏆 IAD 54th Biennial Sponsor
Community has always been the heart of why I do what I do. As a Deaf business owner and visual storyteller, I use my camera not just to capture moments, but to highlight the people, culture, and movements that shape our world — especially within the Deaf community.
In 2025, I was proud to serve as a sponsor for the Indiana Association of the Deaf’s 54th Biennial Conference. Being recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation during such a historic event was an unforgettable honor and a reflection of my ongoing commitment to celebrating Deaf excellence, visibility, and unity.
My goal is to give back by supporting community events, collaborating with local Deaf artists and leaders, and offering photography that reflects the power and pride of our culture. I believe every image has the potential to preserve history, spark connection, and tell stories that deserve to be seen.
Through Hands of Light Photography, I continue to uplift those stories — one frame at a time. Whether behind the lens at a community gathering or spotlighting Deaf talent through my platform, I remain rooted in a purpose greater than myself: to serve, support, and empower through visual storytelling.
